第二节 《庄子》的审美层次与意象英译
庄子具有独特的审美层次,在他看来,“天”是高于“人”的审美意象,“道”是高于“物”的审美意象。“顺天”与“体道”是最高层次的审美体验,位于其审美层次的高端,而“人为”和“物见”位于其审美层次的低端。“天”与“人”,“道”与“物”成对出现,庄子贬抑“人为”而崇尚“顺天”,贬抑囿于“物”的见地,而称颂“道”的见地。译者在翻译的过程中应认识庄子独特的审美阶序,应把审美意象放置在其文化语境中理解,否则会造成误译。
